The Nautical Leadership Experience program at UWC Atlantic, in collaboration with the Trinity House Maritime Charity, offers a hands-on residential opportunity for 16-18 year olds interested in maritime and nautical careers.

Established in 1962, UWC Atlantic is the pioneer institution of the UWC movement, comprising 18 international schools and colleges globally. Situated in a commanding 12th Century Castle on the South Wales coast with views of the Bristol Channel, the college has a rich history of providing education and training in navigation, seamanship, marine safety, and boat building.

Participants gain formal recognition and an insight into the world of sea based work and careers from teaching, training, the environment, naval and more. It also includes industry seminars and talks covering a range of topics and subjects linked to the marine and maritime industry.
