AMENDMENT:

Pending the decommissioning of the Royal Sovereign Lighthouse, four
cardinal lighted buoys will be established to mark the structure until it has
been dismantled as follows:-

1.1 STATION:
RS NORTH LIGHTED BUOY.

POSITION:
Latitude 50° 43.560’N., Longitude 000° 26.100’E.

DESCRIPTION:
Pillar: Black above yellow: Q: N. Cardinal Topmark: Wave Actuated Bell.

1.2 STATION:
RS EAST LIGHTED BUOY.

POSITION:
Latitude 50° 43.450’N., Longitude 000° 26.250’E.

DESCRIPTION:
Pillar: Black above yellow above black: VQ(3)5 seconds. E. Cardinal Topmark.

1.3 STATION:
RS SOUTH LIGHTED BUOY.

POSITION:
Latitude 50° 43.340’N., Longitude 000° 26.100’E.

DESCRIPTION:
Pillar: Yellow above black: Q (6) + L.Fl.15 seconds: S. Cardinal Topmark. Racon and AIS to be fitted.

CODE: Morse ‘T’
XBAND 9320 MHz to 9500 MHz
SBAND 2920 MHz to 3100 MHz
DISPLAY PERIOD: On 20 seconds. Off 40 seconds. Total 60 seconds.

MMSI to be advised at a later date.

RS WEST LIGHTED BUOY.

POSITION:
Latitude 50° 43.450’N., Longitude 000° 25.900’E.

DESCRIPTION:
Pillar: Yellow above black above yellow: Q(9)15 seconds: W. Cardinal Topmark.

2. DATE:

On or about 21st March, 2022.

AMENDMENT:

The aids to navigation on Royal Sovereign Lighthouse to be permanently discontinued.
