Julie, my American wife and I married at Trinity House on Friday July 7 2017. We chose Trinity House because we wanted somewhere quintessentially English in London, yet relaxed enough to be thoroughly enjoyable and not stuffy. We also wanted somewhere with a real wow-factor for our relatives and friends travelling across from America (and closer to home). From the first visit we were completely taken with the venue, and in particular with the knowledge and support provided by Zoe and Edgar, to the point that we stopped looking elsewhere immediately. All through the planning and lead up Zoe was there to guide and support us – we couldn’t have wished for a better event manager. I oversee large international internal and external events as a part of my job, and I can honestly say that Zoe is one of the best I have ever worked with, and I felt completely at ease throughout.
The day itself was perfect and went off without a hitch. The ceremony and the Registrars from Islington were wonderful and the views and rooms magnificent. For us and our guests it was absolutely the perfect setting. After drinks, cake and toasts in the Court room, we, along with our 80 guests, walked down to the river passing the Tower of London (and perfect photo opportunities), to pick up a Mississippi paddle steamer (Thames Luxury Charters) for our evening reception. How better to wind up the perfect wedding than with a long cruise and dance along the river to take in the amazing sites of London.
We couldn’t have hoped for a more perfect day with the best of friends and family, made particularly special by great venues and the best support team anyone could wish for. Many of our guests from home and abroad have cited it as the best wedding they have ever attended – I would highly recommend Trinity House (and TLC) to anyone considering a memorable London wedding.
