We were fortunate to be married at St Paul's Cathedral in September 2022 and to hold our reception at Trinity House.

The rooms provided stunning settings – our drinks reception was held in the Court Room, our wedding breakfast in the Library Room and our evening band and dancing in the Pepys Room, with drinks and evening food being served from the Reading Room. Dinner was announced by ringing the bell from the Royal Yacht Britannia and we cut our cake using the Trinity House ceremonial sword.

There is so much history to this grade I listed building which was of great interest to our 100+ guests. Of particular interest was Royal Charter was granted by Henry VIII in 1514 and the various seafaring rights that were subsequently granted by Elizabeth I and James I in the 1500-1600s.

We could not have been in better hands both in preparing for the reception and the running of it on the day. Zoe is very knowledgeable and expertly guided us throughout. She took much of the strain, planning the various announcements and liaising with the florist, caterers, dance floor company and the band so that the day ran utterly smoothly.

We wanted a London wedding and Trinity House, with its backdrop of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, provided exactly that. We could not have been happier.
