On arriving at Trinity House, the newly decorated entrance hall offers guests a distinguished welcome.
Flanking the columned doors are intricate models of maritime vessels and lighthouses illustrating the Authority’s role in Britain’s maritime history, including the current tenders of the Lighthouse Service, the Trinity House vessels Patricia and Galatea.
Glass cases house a sidereal clock from the Farne Lighthouse and a large model of The Prince Royal, a 55-gun royal ship launched in 1610.
