The aim of the JST is to promote the integration of physically disabled and able-bodied people through the adventure of tall ship sailing.

The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) is a registered UK Charity No 277810, which was established on 6 October 1978.

We built, own and operate our unique tall ships, Lord Nelson and Tenacious. 2011 has been a significant year as it has marked the 25th anniversary of STS Lord Nelson and the 10th anniversary of SV Tenacious.

Since the JST was established 37,000 people have sailed with us. Of these approximately 17,000 people were disabled, with over 5,000 wheelchair users. Our ships are based aroundUKwaters during the summer months and complete passage voyages to warmer climes for the winter voyages between November and April. Often, these voyages are around the Canary Islands for Lord Nelson andCaribbeanfor Tenacious.

Trinity House Maritime Charity has supported the JST with large donations since the 1990s. We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Trinity House for their loyal support of the Jubilee Sailing Trust on behalf of all the people’s lives they have helped to change.
