The AHOY offers opportunities and training for disadvantaged, at risk and vulnerable young people. We use the medium of sailing rowing and water based activities to provide innovative training - teaching transferable and employable skills and at the same building self-confidence, self- esteem and life skills.
We work with hundreds of young people every year helping them to change their lives and we know that hands-on practical training with tangible outcomes gets results as the learning is relevant to them and rooted in the real world.
Over the years we have received the continued support of Trinity House, without which we would struggle to continue to offer the level of training at AHOY. This year we are so grateful to have received funding to help us cover our maintenance costs to ensure that our equipment is kept in working condition. Without this support it will be difficult to run the training and activities at AHOY.
Thank you Trinity House!
